The little Athens
The fascinating city of Pietrasanta, just 40 min from Lucca, it’s the perfect destination for art enthusiasts, both classic and contemporary. A place that gathers artists from all across the world, a true hub for international sculpture.
In recent decades, Pietrasanta has become an open-air museum, where visitors can admire uninterrupted expositions of contemporary art and sculpture of the highest levels.
Known as “the little Athens” thanks to the concentration of artists that have decided to settle down here over the years (like Igor Mitoraj and Fernando Botero).

Duration: about 2 hours. By request we can also attend a demonstration of marble work in an artisan workshop.
